THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN IF YOU USE "SLEEP" THE BACKLIGHT ALWAYS COMES ON and stays on USING SLEEP,. i think this is software as it started doing this after mountain lion install,.but cant be sure.?? 2: dvd/cd drive wont read discs,. 3: webcam wont work,. these 3 issues werent really a problem for me, and if "sleep" is used rather than powering down the machine functions fine,. its fast and has the latest mountain lion 10.8 o.s. comes with a brand new "speck" Case,. overall condition is good, .lid is excellent,. 1 x dent on palmrest,. light scratches on base,.
